Arawali Textiles is based in Jaipur, the textiles capitol of India. Parry Apparel's owner and designer, Shaun Parry spent two years searching for the right manufacturer; a company with whom we would be proud to work. He traveled to Rajasthan in-person and spent two days getting to know Gurucharan, the second generation owner of Arawali Textiles and their staff.  

 

Not only is their workmanship impressive but Gurucharan and his partner, Chandra Prakash are good men who pride themselves in the highest quality workmanship while providing a positive economical and social impact to their region. They gather all their cotton from local farms. They employ local workers to do everything from growing and picking the cotton to running it through the mill, then on to the factory and the dying and weaving of the fabric to print blocking to pattern making to sewing to retail. This was important to us because we were creating our own unique fabric. Having a company that can do it from the ground up was crucial. One of the most important criteria for working with them was that the employees are treated well with good working conditions and salary.
